The Spring Guitar Workshop is a program I have put together to give my students the opportunity to work in a group, developing their ensemble, sight-reading, aural, and musicianship skills.

What is involved?

​

Guitar Ensemble: Learn to play songs in a group written for 3 or more guitar parts, developing your skills to work with others while creating fun and exciting music together.

 

Sight Reading: Increase your music reading skills as you will learn the music at the workshop with others.

​

Aural Skills: Ensembles are a great way to develop aural skills as you will learn to listen to not only your guitar part but the other guitar parts as well.

​

Musicianship: Learn to develop your skills as a musician as we go beyond playing the notes and the rhythm and talk about how to make a song sound musical, working together to create a final performance.
